TruNorth Federal Credit Union has announced its partnership with Greenlight Financial Technology, INC to provide its members free* access to the award winning “debit card and money app for kids”. This collaboration is part of TruNorth’s commitment to Financial Literacy Month and follows the credit union’s vision – to be our members’ financial institution of choice for life by providing innovative services, benefits, and personalized financial guidance.

The robust Greenlight app offers many features that allow parents flexible controls to set up chores, automate an allowance, assist kids in budgeting their money, and achieving a savings goal. Kids and teens get hands-on money management experience and also have access to Greenlight Level Up, an in-app financial literacy game.
TruNorth members will receive a free* Greenlight subscription when they register online here and add their TruNorth Federal Credit Union account as a funding source. Parents may add up to five kids, each with their own debit card.
