As of May 19th, 2020, access to lobbies at all three TruNorth branches continues to be suspended.

Our management team is implementing a safe reopening plan which will include social distancing guidelines for members. An opening date for our lobbies will be announced when it is safe to reopen them.

The safety and health of our employees and members remains our top priority. We understand this is a difficult and strange time and we want to thank you for your patience and understanding. We’re all in this together!

During Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order, TruNorth’s drive-thru will remain open. Hours will continue to be Monday through Friday 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Our drive-thru is busy during lunch time, normally 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. We want to remind everyone that if you only need to make a deposit or a payment, you can use a night deposit at any one of our three locations. All locations will be checking night deposits frequently throughout normal business hours to serve you. Please continue to use your preferred location when using the night deposits. This will help us serve you more efficiently.

ATMs will continue to be available at all three locations. Please take advantage of the ATMs if you only need to make a cash withdrawal.

We will continue to prohibit lobby access at all locations during this time. Governor Whitmer’s 2020-21 Executive Order includes temporary requirement to suspend activities that are not necessary to sustain or protect life. We will however be making appointments at all three locations when absolutely necessary. Please call ahead to make an appointment.

We understand this is a difficult time. Your money is safe and will continue to be available to you. Please call us at (906) 485-1210 with any questions or concerns. And please, stay home and stay safe!

The health and well-being of our members and employees is our top priority. We are doing our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and taking necessary steps by following recommendations put in place by federal, state, and local governments.

As of March 19, 2020, we will temporarily be suspending lobby access to our main, Walmart, and Jubilee branches. We will be open for business through our drive-thru only at the main branch in Ishpeming until further notice. Our drive-thru will be open normal hours, Monday through Friday 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.  We will also be checking night drops at all locations throughout business hours to promptly serve you.

All ATM locations will be accessible during this time. ATMs are located at all three locations and surcharge free ATMs can be searched through our website.

Feel free to contact us for questions and phone transactions at (906) 485-1210. Our call center team is available Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. to assist you. We will be temporarily waiving our $2 phone transfer fee as well. You may also email any one of our departments using the emails listed below:

We encourage the use of Home Teller and CLASS Line, as they offer you 24/7 access to your accounts. Please contact us with more information on either of these.

You may still apply for a loan on our website, trunorthcu.org. You may call or email us and we can assist you.

Please keep in mind that the coronavirus cannot physically affect electronic banking or payment systems, like a natural catastrophe such as earthquake or tornado. You will continue to have uninterrupted access to all your funds through ATMs, online banking, debit cards and credit cards.

Your money is safe and available to you. We are only temporarily adjusting how we serve you. We will continue to monitor the situation and will comply with any directives given by federal, state, and local governments as it pertains to the coronavirus pandemic in order to keep employees and members safe.

We encourage our members to do their part, too, by recommending you stay home if you are sick. This will help to reduce the potential impact of the virus on our employees, which will allow us to stay open to continue to serve our membership during this difficult and unusual time.

TruNorth Federal Credit Union is committed to providing the best member service possible, knowing we also have a social responsibility to try to reduce the potential spread of the virus throughout our community. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time and look forward to re-establishing full branch services when the time for social distancing diminishes.

Sincerely,

Steve Smith
