What looks like a credit card, but works like an ATM card or check? A TruNorth VISA debit card! You can use our debit wherever VISA is accepted, but instead of being charged interest on your purchase, the total is taken directly out of your checking account. Plus, you can use our TruNorth VISA debit card at ATMs worldwide.

Lost or Stolen Cards

VISA Debit or ATM Cards

• During regular office hours, call (906) 485-1210 to speak to our Operations department.
• After normal business hours, call (800) 554-8969 to notify VISA that the card is lost or stolen. You will need to contact the main office during normal business hours (M-F 8-5pm) to reorder a card from our Operations department.

VISA Credit Cards

• During normal business hours, call (855) 519-9406 or international (301) 837-8426 to notify VISA that the card is lost or stolen.

PIN RESET

• VISA Debit Cards – please call (800) 567-3451  to reset your PIN.
• VISA Credit Cards – please call (855) 519-9406 to reset your PIN.

VISA Account Updater

In an effort to better serve our members, TruNorth FCU Visa Credit/Debit Cards are automatically enrolled in the Visa Account Updater (VAU) beginning in October 2017.

What is the Visa Account Updater (VAU) service?
VAU is an account updating service to help facilitate uninterrupted processing of your recurring payments that use your TruNorth FCU Visa Credit/Debit Card information. When your TruNorth FCU Visa Credit/Debit Card(s) expire, are lost or stolen and new cards are issued, the VAU service may update relevant card data (card numbers and expiration dates) to appropriate merchants that participate in VAU. The service provides updates to a Visa database only. The database is accessed by those qualified merchants seeking your account information after you have requested they process a recurring payment or payments.

If you would like to opt-out of the VAU service, please complete an Account Updater VISA Opt-Out Form and return it to the credit union.If you have any questions regarding the VAU service, or would like an opt-out request form mailed to you, please contact the credit union at (906) 485-5563 or toll-free at (877) 694-2328.

Travel and Gift Cards

We offer VISA travel and gift cards for purchase at any of our branches. Give us a call at (906) 485-1210 for more information.

VISA Travel and Gift cards are NOT insured by the NCUA or TruNorth Federal Credit Union.

Traveling with VISA Cards

If you are traveling with your VISA card, please contact our Operations Department by calling (906) 485-1210 with the following information: dates of travel, destination, and a valid phone number. By notifying us, you may prevent your card from being blocked by VISA due to suspicious activity.
